I know that sounds like one of those cheap internet ads which drive you to a page where you have to buy the latest super dooper wonder food to come out of the Brazilian rainforest… whatever it happens to be that day. But it really isn’t… this is the real deal. I have gone down three dress sizes in about two months by just making a few changes to what I eat.
How do I know it’s three dress sizes, you may ask? I have to describe it in those terms because I didn’t have the courage to weigh myself, knowing what a terrible story the scales would have to tell. But I had bought two identical dresses last summer because they were going cheap in a sale – one black, one wine-coloured – at £10 each.
A few weeks ago, I put the black one in the wash, which was a mistake. When I went to put it on a few days later, it felt a little tight, and I was surprised, wondering if I had put on a pound or two. Then I looked down, and noticed that the hem was about three inches shorter than where it had been before. So I took out the wine-coloured dress from the wardrobe and laid it on the bed, and then arranged the black one on top of it. There was about three inches difference all the way round!
I’m now wearing the shrunken black one as a tunic dress over jeans – the point is, a few months ago, I wouldn’t have been able to get into either.
For anyone to lose weight effortlessly is a wonderful thing; for someone of my age, 63, it is an absolute triumph! There is nothing so uplifting as the feeling you get when you can slip into those old skinny jeans again. By the way, that’s not me in the picture above… but it will be me by summer, as the weight is continuing to melt off.
So now that the holiday season is out of the way, I thought it would be a good time to share with you how to shed the pounds in this way.
There were a number of factors that contributed to the weight loss, but it all centred around making some fine tuning changes which brought my body back into balance and harmony. But unlike other weight loss methods, there has been no hunger, no cravings, no having to go to the gym nor long runs, no horrible colonics (more about those later), no fasting, no living on just juices, no so-called miracle foods, and it didn’t cost me any money.
